FIRE crews have attended the scene of a combine which was on fire in a field.

At just after 3pm this afternoon, crews from Malton and Helmsley were called to the scene at Street Lane, Pickering.

The combine was on fire in a field of standing corn.

Crews extinguished the fire using two hose reel jets.
