LEAVENING Primary School has held an exhibition and café to show off their hard work.
Entitled "Why is Leavening Unique?", the pupils researched the area and asked several members of the community to talk to about their experiences of Leavening School and the village.
Head teacher Sian Mitchell said: “We had a village walk and learned about the mill that used to be here.
"The celebration was fantastic as we displayed our drawings and offered teas, coffees and cakes to our visitors.
"We sang a song to them that we had made up the lyrics to. Everyone had a great time.”
