A VEHICLE has been left burnt out by the side of the road after a collision this morning.
North Yorkshire Police tweeted that they attended reports of a road traffic collision on the B1249 at Foxholes on the eastern edge of Ryedale.
They said that "the offending vehicle failed to stop at the scene. Fortunately no injuries."

The 4X4 involved was then located a few miles away, burnt out.
Three people have been arrested.
Police added: "Thanks to a vigilant member of public."
