PUPILS at Leavening Primary School have been demonstrating their creative skills in a writing competition.
The children in the Early Years Foundation Stage were asked to describe dinosaurs using adjectives, while the Conkers and Oak Trees classes wrote a diary extract in the life of a Roman.
The winners were Amy Kemp in Reception, Nicole Fletcher and William Clarkson in Nursery, Graci Wood in Conkers and Felicity Kettlestring in Oak Trees.
A school spokesman said: "The pupils were very creative and demonstrated a high standard of writing."
