A MALTON artisan baker is offering residents the chance to learn how to bake homemade bread.
Steve Shaw, from Dickens of a Deli in Malton, will demonstrate how he makes the bread he sells daily in the deli before giving guests the chance to have a go themselves.
The first events takes place tomorrow (Thursday), from 7pm to 9.30pm, and will begin with a short introduction before guests are taught about bread scaling and moulding.
Steve's wife Margaret said there will be the chance to learn about cheese and wine while the dough goes in the oven.
She said: "It's very much a hands-on evening of baking. People will be doing the baking and learning about it and then taking home everything they make."
Demonstrations will also be held on October 8 and November 12, from 7pmn to 9.30pm, and tickets are £15 per person. For more information, phone 01653 696563.
