A SELECTION of hand-coloured lino prints by well known artist Gerard Hobson are now on show at Leaf and Loaf cafe in Welburn.
The vibrant depictions of British animals and birds are presented in a folk-art style, with bold outlines and stylised features, often with patterned backgrounds.
Gerard, who is based in York, applies colours to each limited edition lino print, lending individuality and a variety of moods to the pictures.
His exhibition at the artisan bakery and café, run by Philip and Anna-Marie Magson, follows his recent success in the York Open Studios.
Gerard’s work can be seen at Leaf and Loaf, Main Street, Welburn, from 9am to 3.30pm, Monday to Saturday, or visit gerardhobson.com
