A RYEDALE-based freight company has expanded its services into another four more European countries.
Membership of Palletways, the European express palletised freight network, means that Ward Bros will in June launch its latest services in Poland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
The company’s principal, Steve Ward, said: “These new additions to the network are really exciting times for both Palletways and Ward Bros.
“This adds to our growing pan-European delivery capability and will open up significant new market opportunities both for ourselves and our customers.”
Luis Zubialde, managing director of Palletways, UK Network, added: “Our expansion into Eastern and Northern Europe is part of our wider strategy to extend our geographical presence and to provide even more value to our customers.
“It will be supported by our pan-European IT platform and central customer service operation in Madrid to ensure that we provide the best possible customer experience.”
The new expansion means that the Old Malton-based firm is now running its operations in 18 European countries reaching from Denmark to Italy and the Czech Republic.
