FOLLOW the election results as they come in in York and North and East Yorkshire with The Press online.
A live blog on our website will run from the close of polls at 10pm today, as the votes for the York Central and York Outer parliamentary candidates are counted.
Votes in the City of York Council election will be counted from 5pm tomorrow, and our website will once again bring live results from the count at Energise sports centre in Acomb.
Swimmers and gym members will be able to use Energise sports centre as usual today and tomorrow, despite it being used for the election on both days.
The sports hall, dance studio and creche rooms will not be open, but the swimming pools, gym, indoor cycle room and the climbing wall will all be open as usual.
The creche will be open this morning only and the usual classes have been cancelled.
