BARONESS Tanni Grey-Thompson visited Malton School on Friday to talk to students about her role as a peer.
Her visit was part of a Peers into Schools programme, which is offered by the House of Lords and encourages students to learn more about politics and Parliament.
Tanni also spoke about her particular interests including sport, diversity and disability rights.
Deputy head girl Rachel Allen said: “Meeting Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson was so inspiring, and a great privilege. She showed real interest in our questions and she was warm and funny.”
