THE chief executive of St Catherine’s Hospice, Lee Barker, is leaving after 10 years.
The charity currently cares for more than 2,000 patients and their families in Ryedale, Scarborough, Whitby, Bridlington and Driffield, from its Scarborough headquarters and in the communities.
“When I started the hospice had just moved into its newly-built premises in Throxenby Lane, Newby. There have been many challenges and we have been able to build more rooms,” she said.
Mike Wilkerson, of Rotherham Hospice, takes over.
