PHOTOGRAPHERS have been urged to submit shots of their favourite woodland for a new competition.
The Yorkshire Agricultural Society, organiser of the Great Yorkshire Show, has launched the Living Woodlands competition, with the best 32 images to be displayed in the Forestry Pavilion at this year’s show.
The show runs from Tuesday to Thursday, July 8 to 10 and is expected to attract 130,000 visitors who can vote for their favourite photograph. The competition is split into junior (16 and under), and senior (17 and over) sections, with winners in each category awarded £50 Amazon vouchers, and the overall winner receiving a £100 voucher.
All entries must be submitted by Monday, June 2. Visit greatyorkshireshow.co.uk
