MALTON Motor Club is hosting An Evening with Martin Withers, the pilot of the Vulcan Bomber who flew the plane in the Falklands conflict.
Tickets are available now for the Wednesday, April 30 event at Malton School.
Martin flew the Vulcan in active service and is the current chief pilot and operations manager for the Vulcan at the Sky Trust.
He will talk in detail about his career as a pilot, in particular his time flying one of Britain’s most recognisable aircraft, the Vulcan.
The evening falls on the anniversary of Operation Black Buck, the longest bombing raid in aviation history that took place during the Falklands conflict.
