JUDGES from Scarborough’s Chamber of Trade are getting ready to pick their winner in a festive shop window competition.
Chamber president Janet Jefferson and Scarborough Borough Council’s investment manager, Nick Taylor, will be looking at Scarborough town shops in the run-up to Christmas, and will award prizes for the best window displays for both big and small stores.
Mrs Jefferson said: “Scarborough shopkeepers always make their windows look fantastic at Christmas and this is the way for the chamber to reward them for that extra effort.”
