HUNDREDS of schoolchildren filled Malton’s Milton Rooms to perform the Christmas Big Sing.
A total of 314 children from 10 primary schools had been rehearsing Christmas songs for weeks in the run-up to their concert last Friday.
Em Whitfield Brooks, artistic director at Helmsley Arts Centre, who organised the event and conducted the performance, said: “It was fantastic, they worked really hard and it was great fun.”
