Volunteer Judy Clucas in the Christmas grotto at Home Start
A CHARITY which helps young families in the area is holding a Christmas fundraiser.
Home-Start Ryedale has created a festive grotto at its shop at Butcher Corner, in Malton, selling toys, books and games.
Charity coordinator Jo Oliver said the aim was to attract people into the shop and help raise vital funds. “All the money stays in Ryedale,” she said. “We are also looking for donations of toys, and for volunteers to work both in the shop and for home-visiting,” she added.
