FESTIVE cheer will be on offer at a fair in aid of St Michael’s Church, in Malton, on Saturday.
The event will be held at the Milton Rooms, in Malton, from 9.30am to 12.30pm, and will include stalls selling cakes, books, bottles, jams and toiletries.
There will also be crafts, tombola, raffle and a whisky wheel.
Refreshments will be available, including bacon butties and home-made cakes Churchwarden Romey Willis said for the children they would have hoopla and Trap the Rat games, and Father Christmas would be there with a bag of gifts “This is one of our biggest fundraising events of the year and everyone always works together as a brilliant team,” she said.
“We are raising funds for St Michael’s, the church in the Market Place, with a door open to welcome everyone and working for the needs of the community.”
