IT WAS wooden spoons at the ready for competitors in the Great Harome Bake Off.
The event was held to raise funds for the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society as part of its annual Cake Break fundraiser.
Emma Dodsworth, who organised the event alongside Andrew Pern, from The Star Inn, Harome, said they had raised £569.
"Big thanks to The Star Inn Harome, Yorkshire Yurts, Auntie Anne's Bakery, Adam Collier on the organ, Ian Smithson with the swingboats, The Yorkshire Advertiser and for all the generous raffle prizes," Emma said.
"Also, as always big thanks to everyone who supported, baked and helped in so many ways, we could not hold the event every year without you - we had 25 cakes entered with the children's class causing big stress for the judges."
