GET your Christmas wines all wrapped up while raising money for two charities at a seasonal event tomorrow.
Derventio Wines, based in Malton, is hosting a Christmas wine-tasting evening at the Milton Rooms, from 5.30pm to 9pm, in aid of St Catherine’s Hospice and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
More than 100 wines from around the world will be available to try and many suppliers will be in attendance to answer questions.
Paul Tate-Smith, from Derventio Wines, said this was the fourth year the firm had organised the event. He said: “The evening is the perfect opportunity to choose a selection of wines for the festive season and pick up a gift items as well as raising funds for two worthy charities.”
Tickets are £5 at the door.
