LASTINGHAM: Thieves have stolen three square metres of dry stone walling worth £200 from a house in High Street, Lastingham.
Police say it would have taken a considerable time to dismantle the wall, and a vehicle will have been used to carry away the stones. It happened between midnight on Sunday, July 23 and 10pm on Monday, July 24.
Any persons who may have seen any suspicious people or vehicles in the area are asked to contact Ryedale Police on 0845 60 60 247.
FLAXTON: A man suffered a fractured jaw during a altercation between two men at a function at Sandburn Hall Golf Club, Flaxton, in the early hours of Sunday, July 23.
One man was arrested and has been bailed.
NORTON: Police are appealing for witnesses to a theft of a £30 hanging basket from outside a bakery in Church Street, Norton, between 1.30am and 2am on Saturday, July 22. It is believed a male was responsible and that there were several potential witnesses in the area at the time.
NORTON: A child's blue GT BMX bike worth £30 was stolen from an alleyway beside a house in Eastfield Avenue, Norton, between 11.30pm and 11.45pm on Friday, July 21.
MALTON: A burglar smashed a window at the side of VIP Hair and Beauty Salon in Castlegate, Malton, before reaching through and stealing a quantity of items on the windowsill. It happened between 5pm on Saturday, July 22 and 8am on Monday, July 24.
KIRKBYMOORSIDE: A thief stole £70 from a house in Crown Square, Kirkbymoorside, between 5pm and on Sunday, July 23 and 8.30am on Monday, July 24.
AMPLEFORTH: Thieves stole a brown leather bag, bottle of altar wine, box of matches and £10 from St Benedict's Church, Ampleforth, between 10.15am and 5.30pm on Monday, July 24.

NORTON: Around £2,000 of damage was caused to a 1958 Morris 1000 convertible in Parliament Street, Norton, between July 1 and 15.
LOCKTON: We have been asked to point out that a BMW car was damaged by vandals in Scarborough and not Lockton, as reported in last week's Gazette and Herald. The information was incorrectly supplied to us.
