Firefighters tackle hay bales on fire
FIREFIGHTERS helped to control a fire involving bales of hay last night.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service say crews from Huntington were called out to Sheriff Hutton to deal with the blaze after receiving a call at around 10.06pm.
A spokesperson said: “The hay bales were removed and allowed to burn out. Two hose reel jets, thermal imaging camera and small tools were used.”
