A VETERINARY practice has kicked off the year by appointing a new member of staff.
Birchwood Veterinary Practice has employed registered veterinary nurse, Steph Neary, to the family-run practise in Gate Helmsley, near York.
With more than 17 years of experience, Steph has worked with mixed and small animal practices around North and East Yorkshire, alongside being a clinical coach to student veterinary nurses and achieving a Certificate of Veterinary Nursing in Exotic Species.
“We are delighted to welcome Steph to the Birchwood team,” said Michael Gilbertson, the principal vet at Birchwood Veterinary Practice.
“Steph brings a wealth of experience and knowledge which will complement the existing team.
“Having worked with Steph in previous roles, she will be a familiar face to many of our clients and an asset to the practice.”
The practice provides routine appointments seven-days-a-week in their surgery, which includes a fully-equipped in-house laboratory and purpose-built sterile surgical facilities.
