A MANUFACTURER of off-road vehicles is spreading the word about farm safety at the Great Yorkshire Show.
Can-Am, a manufacturer of all-terrain vehicles and side-by-side vehicles, is highlighting the importance of ATV security to the show’s visitors.
It comes as the NFU Mutual’s rural crime report suggests that quad bikes are one of the most targeted vehicles in rural crime, costing rural communities a total of £2.3 million.
The firm issued some “top tips” for vehicle safety, including fitting tracking systems, recording serial numbers, and providing lighting and motion sensors to farm storage areas. They also suggested ensuring vehicles are stored inside, in securely locked buildings.
Can-Am will be at the Great Yorkshire Show at stand 750.
