SLEDMERE Farm Park welcomed this new arrival last week.
The foal was born at 4.42am Sunday, May 5.
Laura Clark, Sledmere Farm Park manager, said: “It was very straight forward foaling and Cottage Farm Julie’s second foal. We have the rare breed farm park open to the public and the addition of our own shire foal is extremely special.
“The stables are working stables and have some of the types of horses that would have been used on Sledmere Estate in the past including a shire horse and two small family ponies.
“Cottage Farm Julie has only been with us since February after buying her from Mark Richardson, the fact she was in foal was a massive bonus for us. His official name will be Sledmere Masterman.”
