FARMLAND at Duncombe Park, Helmsley, will be granted mixed use status to enable it to host events and open to the public.
It is among the latest plans approved under delegated authority by the planning officers at the North York Moors National Park.
The scheme by The Helmsley Estate will enable events to be held on the land at Park Plain, on the estate.
Also given approval was a plan by the Forestry Commission to build a new road and turning area for forestry vehicles at Taylor Hill, Stape; general purpose agricultural buildings at Ducky Barn Buildings, Hawnby, and Holly Bower, Sproxton; and alterations to create a dwelling at Bleach Mill Farm, Maltongate, Thornton-le-Dale.
