TWELVE-year-old Rebecca Seidl has recently enjoyed great success in the showjumping arena with a new pony that she had been riding for just one week.
Rebecca has forged a deep bond during her short time with Nebro Freedancer (stable name Frankie), a four-year-old Welsh Section D, but also continues to ride her old faithful pony, Pippet.
With her two mounts, Rebecca took first and second places in every jumping class at Westfield Stables, Catwick, near Hornsea, on Sunday, July 4.
The following weekend was almost as successful with one win, three second places and a fifth.
Rebecca comes from an equestrian background, with her grandparents based at Irton Riding Centre, and although she enjoys showjumping during the summer months, Rebecca competes in the high-octane sport of slalom skiing throughout the winter.
