Malton District Riding Club had a very busy weekend, with a dressage competition on Friday evening, followed by unaffiliated showjumping on Sunday. Both events took place on the club field at Manor Farm, Thornthorpe, and attracted a high number of entries.

The dressage competition was a qualifier for the Jorvik Championships, and a new section on the showjumping schedule was a pairs class. The results were as follows:
