FOURTEEN-year-old Anya Marley, from Weaverthorpe, was celebrating after winning four showjumping classes at Port Royal Equestrian Centre on Bank Holiday Monday.
Riding her new pony, Wolds Forbidden Secret, Marley won the pairs jumping, partnered by her mother Julie Marley, before going on to win the 60cm and 65cm classes.
Ending the day on a high, Anya powered to victory in the Chase me Charlie, jumping 1.35 metres and knocking her mother, riding Wolds Ranger. into second place, It was a great performance from Anya, who was riding a pony that she had owned for just one week.
This duo went on to win won the novice show jumping at Sledmere Show and took second place in the open class on Sunday, May 31.
