FRIARS Hill Stables, Sinnington, are to hold a three-day mini-camp from July 20-22.

This non-residential camp is targeted at those who have not attended a Friars Hill pony camp before or are under the age of 12. The children will gain experience of grooming, tacking up, mucking out and riding ponies.

The cost of the camp is £150, with a deposit of £75 required to secure a place. Sessions will run from 8am until 6pm each day and lunch and snacks will be provided.

Friars Hill Big Camp 2009 will take place from August 3-7 and only those over the age of 12 years are able to attend. All campers are expected to supply their own tent. The cost for Big Camp is £260.

There will be the Friars Hill barbecue on the Thursday evening at a cost of £9 per person. All parents must supply a side dish or a dessert that would feed at least six people.. Parents are encouraged to come to the prize giving at 1.30pm on the Friday afternoon.
