JACK WAINWRIGHT was in fine fettle again at Port Royal’s affiliated dressage day, taking second place in the Novice 28 class on a score of 71.9 per cent and going one better to win the novice 37 with a clear three per cent lead.

In the unaffiliated classes, Abbie Hellewell won four out of the eight classes and Lizzie Reid was also having a fantastic day, winning all three of her classes, along with young junior rider Erin Chan once again winning both her classes.

Port Royal equestrian centre’s next unaffiliated competition will be the trail blazers show jumping on Sunday, January 26.
