A NORTH Yorkshire property developer has had one of its residential schemes shortlisted for a regional award.

The RICS North East Renaissance Awards has shortlisted Easingwold-based residential property developer Mulgrave Properties in the Best Residential Development category for its Nessfield Place scheme in Nunthorpe.

The development, near Middlesbrough, is a scheme comprising nine family homes, all but one of which have been sold.

Andy Campbell, chief executive of Mulgrave Properties, said: “As a company, one of our guiding principles is attention to detail in terms of both the design and the construction, so we are very pleased to be shortlisted for the very prestigious RICS North East Renaissance Award.”

Over the years, developments by Mulgrave Properties have won numerous awards including, Best Large Housing Development award at the National LABC Awards for their Moorland Close scheme in Whitby.

Mulgrave Properties also won the 2012 RICS Pro Yorkshire Residential Design Award for The Valley development in Sandsend, near Whitby.

The winners will be announced on April 24 at a ceremony in Newcastle.
