Go-ahead for agricultural dealership
COUNCILLORS have given the go-ahead for a new agricultural dealership in East Knapton.
Ryetec Ltd has been given permission by Ryedale District Council’s planning committee to convert farm buildings at Mill House, Scarborough Road, into an office and apartment, together with the building of a warehouse and workshops for the venture.
The committee also approved a scheme to build two broiler units to house 80,000 poultry at Fosters Wold Farm, Weaverthorpe, and for an extension and solar panels at Green View, Page Lane, Wombleton.
