Notice of making of a Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order, Highways Act 1980 Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, North Yorkshire County Council Public Footpath 25.61/4 (Part) Costa Farm, Marishes Diversion Order 2018

The above Order, made on 03/09/18 under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and Section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, will divert the public footpath described below and modify The Eastern part of the County of the former North Riding of Yorkshire Definitive Map and Statement accordingly. Footpath 25.61/4 from GR SE 7958 7720 running generally west and south west for approximately

305 metres to GR SE 7931 7709 will be diverted

onto a new line from GR SE 7958 7720, passing through a gate to run along the southern side of the field boundary to a kissing gate at GR SE

7941 7718, then across pasture to GR SE 7931

7709. A copy of the Order and Order Map may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Pickering Library, The Ropery, Pickering, YO18

may be purchased from Waste & Countryside Services, North Yorkshire County Council, County Hall, Northallerton, DL7 8AD (tel: 01609 532512) at a cost of £2.00, or can be downloaded free from our website www.northyorks.gov.uk/pathnotices. Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to Rachel Tyrer at the above address to arrive not later than 17/10/18. Please state the grounds on which they are made. Please note that objections/ representations cannot be treated as confidential and may come into the public domain. Copies of any objections or representations received may be disclosed to interested parties, including the Planning Inspectorate where the case is referred to it for determination. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, North Yorkshire County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation, any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
