DARLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND LOADING) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2012 (AMENDMENT NO. 16), (RESIDENTS PARKING) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2012 (AMENDMENT NO. 4) AND (ON STREET PARKING PLACES) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2012 (AMENDMENT NO. 8) ORDER 2018
Notice is hereby given that Darlington Borough Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1,2,4, 32, 35,45,46,47,49 and 53 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of the Traffic Management Act 2004. The effect of the Order will be as follows:-
1. To amend the parts of Victoria Embankment in which there is No Waiting and No Loading/Unloading at anytime.
2. To amend the parts of Bedford Street, Leafield Road and Victoria EmbankmentinwhichthereisNoWaitingatanytimeandtointroduce thatrestrictioninpartofRoslynStreet
3.TointroduceNoWaitingMon-Sat9am-5pminpartofthewestsideof BedfordStreet
4. To introduce Residents Parking all days 8am-6pm to parts of Grainger Street, Leafield Road, Nelson Terrace and Roslyn Street; and to extend thatrestrictioninBedfordStreet,ParkLaneandVictoriaEmbankment. These will be in Zone H. The charges for permits are £12 for three months; £24 for six months; and £40 for a year. The properties eligible for permits in Zone H will be:-
Bedford Street-1-7,7a, 943,77,77a odds and 2-88, 94-146 evens GraingerStreet-1-63odds
Leafield Road -1-23, 29-69 odds and 2-20, 20a, 22-62 evens NelsonTerrace-1-19oddsand2-22evens ParkLane-73-107oddsand14-44,48-94evens RoslynStreet-3-39oddsand 2-40evens
5.TointroduceloadingbaystotheeastsideofVictoriaEmbankment-from thenorthernboundary2VictoriaEmbankmentnorthwardsforadistance of10metres
6. To introduce 2 hour limited waiting Mon-Sat9am-5pm in parts ofBedford Streetand Victoria Embankment
