Proposed development at Slingsby Community Primary School,The Green, Slingsby, Malton, YO62 4AA.
I give notice that the Governors of Slingsby CP School and Castle Howard Estate Ltd are applying to North Yorkshire County Council for planning permission and listed building consent for the erection of 1.2 m high timber fence to enclose existing access track and small area in front of north facing entrance door to school premises including matching double gates and creation of a tarmac footpath (9.3 sq. metres). The building concerned is included in the Statutory List of Buildings of Architectural or Historic Interest compiled under the above Act. The part of Slingsby within which the proposed development is situated has been designated a Conservation Area under the above Act as the area is of special architectural or historic interest the character of which it is desirable to preserve or enhance.
Members of the public may view the application, the plans, and other documents submitted with the application at Ryedale District Council, Planning Department, Ryedale House, Malton, North Yorkshire during all reasonable hours until 5th July 2017. Please note that this may require a prior appointment. You are advised to check with the Council before making your visit.
