DARLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1084 [TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ZOZO FOOTPATH 34 S 35, DARLINGTON

Darlington Borough Council made an Order on 6th February 2020 subsequently extended to 31st December 2021 .under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which was to close:

FOOTPATH 34 Entirely FOOTPATH 35

From Footpath 34 eastwards to its junction at Lingliold Way

An alternative route is signed via Lingfield Way, Allington Way, McMullen Road and vice versa

The order is necessary to allow works on the adjacent housing development.

As the works are still ongoing the Secretary of State for Transport has granted a further extension of the Order until 31st December 2022 or until such time as the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
