NEILSTON LEARNING & LEISURE CAMPUS
East Renfrewshire Council intend to submit a planning application to East Renfrewshire Council for Neilston Learning & Leisure Campus, co-locating Neilston and St Thomas' Primary Schools, Madras Family Centre and Community Library, including landscaping, external sports facilities and car parking, at a site to the rear of Neilston Primary School, High St, Neilston.
Following submission of a Proposal of Application Notice to East Renfrewshire Council Planning department on 04/02/21 (REF 2021/0084/PAN) and as part of the pre-application consultation process the applicant. East Renfrewshire Council, give notice of their intention to hold a virtual public consultation event in connection with details of the scheme being available online from the 12th of May 2021 until the 26th May 2021, with the facility to make comments throughout this period.
The live event will take the form of an online public presentation, which will be held on the 19th of May 2021 at 17:00 pm and can be accessed at
As noted, information outlining the details of the development will be available from the 12th of May 2021 onwards and questions can be submitted throughout the period and at the live event which will be fed back to the design team for comment. The details of the scheme will otherwise be available at the same website until the 26th of May 2021, along with the facility to share feedback via an online survey. Those unable to access the events and feedback online can make comments in writing to BDP, 15 Exchange Place, Glasgow, G1 3AN or by emailing
no later than the 26th of May 2021.
The presentation is part of the pre-application consultation process. No planning application has been submitted at this time.
Please note that all written representations on the pre-application consultation must be sent to the postal address or web address and not to East Renfrewshire Council. Comments made to the prospective applicant are not representations to the Planning Authority.
When the Council submit a formal planning application there will be an opportunity to make representations on that application to the Planning Authority.
