ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 PICCADILLY, DALE STREET & DUKE STREET, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO. 1387) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of demolition works proposed to be executed on or near Piccadilly, Dale Street and Duke Street, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to introduce the following restrictions:-
Piccadilly - no person shall proceed in the length of Piccadilly from its junction with Kirkgate to its junction with Duke Street.
Dale Street - One Way Traffic Flow on Dale Street from its junction with Kirkgate to its junction with Duke Street when travelling in a north westerly direction.
Duke Street - One Way Traffic Flow on Duke Street from its junction with Piccadilly to its junction with Dale Street when travelling in a south westerly direction.
A temporary suspension of One Way Traffic Flow effected by item numbers 82 & 91 in Schedule 1 to the (Moving Traffic)(Consolidation) Order 2009 will be in effect throughout the duration of this Order as shown in the schedule below:-

From its junction with Duke Street to its junction with Kirkgate from north west to south east
Dale Street, Bradford
From its junction with Darley Street 91 Duke Street, Bradford to its junction with Piccadilly from
south west to north east
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of roads.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will
be available via Kirkgate, Dale Street, Duke Street, Piccadilly (unaffected
section) Upper Piccadilly, Manor Row, Cheapside and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on 26th April 2021
and remain in force until 18:00 hours on 25th October 2022 (although the
closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
