(C67 CORNFORTH LANE. COXHOE) (BUS GATE & NO ENTRY) ORDER 2021

The Council on 31/3/2021 made an Order under Sections 1,2,4 and part TV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 "the Act"), as amended, which comes into operation on 16/4/2021 the effect of which will revoke in full The County Durham (C69 Cornforth Lane, Coxhoe) (Prohibition of Entry) Order, 1992 and introduce A. a BUS GATE on C67 Cornforth Ln 1. from the roundabout on the A177 onto Cornforth Ln for 4m in a north easterly direction 2. from Cornforth Ln onto the roundabout on the A177 for 4m in a south westerly direction both operational 24 hours daily. B. NO ENTRY restrictions on 1. western side of the Cornforth Ln from the end of the Bus Gate restriction for 4 metres in a south westerly direction to the roundabout on the A177 2. eastern side of Cornforth Ln from the end of the Bus Gate restriction for 4m in a north easterly direction onto Comforth Ln. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by "the Act", as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks from 8/4/2021 apply to make an application for that purpose to the High Court.

(GREAT LUMLEY) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WATTING) ORDER 2021

The Council on 31/3/2021 made an Order under Sections 1,2,4,32 and 35 and part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 "the Act"), as amended, the effect of which comes into operation on 15/4/2021 and is to introduce No Stopping on School Entrance Markings Mon-Fri 8am-6pm on a. Grosmont, South West Side from a point 19.4m south east of the centre line of Runnymede in a South Easterly direction for a distance of 31.56m b. Loefield West/ South/ East/ North Side from a point 50m east of its junc with Medway in a Southerly then Easterly then Northerly then Westerly direction for a distance of 25.56m. c. Front St, South Side From a point 10.0m east of the centre line of Cocken Lane in an easterly direction for a distance of 43.56m. d. Front Street/Cocken Lane South/ East Side From a point 9.9m east of the centre line of Cocken Lane in a westerly then southerly direction for a distance of 43.56m. Introduce New Restrictions 'No Waiting at Any Time' on: a. For 7m either side of the access to Melbeck Crt from Front St b. For 62m on the south side of Front St from a point adj to No. 5 Churchside, in a south westly direction c. For 15m on the south west side of the junc from Front St onto Cocken Rd from a point adj to Christ Church Lumley in a southern direction. And 'Restricted Waiting Mon-Fri 8am-9am and 3pm-4pm' on: a. For 25m either side of the junc from Tintagel into Runnymede b. For 23m on the northern side of the junc from Tintagel into Kenilworth from a point adj to 23 Pendragon in an easterly direction; and for 39m on the southern side of the junc from a point adj to 7 Tintagel in a souihernly direction c. For 21m on the western side Tintagel from a point adjacent to 36 Tintagel in a southerly direction d. For 79m on the northern side of Front St from a point ad] to Scott Crt in an easterly direction. (FENCEHOUSES) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING) ORDER 2010 (AMENDMENT NO.1) ORDER 2021 The Council on 31/3/2021 made an Order under Sections 1, 2,4, and part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 "the Act"), as amended, the effect of which comes into operation on 15/4/2021 and is to introduce No Waiting at Any Time Restrictions on:- a. Both sides of the access from Gill Cres North into Gill Cres south for 26m. (PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO 26. DURHAM CITY) (TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2021

The Council on 31/3/21 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all pedestrian traffic from proceeding on approx 182m of PROW Footpath 26, Durham City from the junction with Pimlico and South St at the northern side of closure in a southerly direction to the west side of Prebends Bridge to prevent danger to the public and to carry out wall repair works on or adjacent to the said footpath. Alt route from the northern point of closure in a westerly direction on Grove St, then southerly on Quarryheads Ln, then southerly on Footpaths 25 and 27 to Prebends bridge at the southern side of closure and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 6 months. The works are expected to commence on 5/4/21 and are anticipated to be required for 6 months. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.

(LARCH TERRACE. TANTOBIE. STANLEY) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2021

The Council on 7/4/21 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 30m of road at 3 Larch Tee, Tantobie, Stanley to enable service renewal due to poor water pressure to be undertaken. Alt route from the eastern side of the closure, northerly on Harperley Ln, westerly on Worley Tee, southerly alongside 1 Worley Tee, then easterly on Larch Tee to the western side of the closure and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 12/4/21 and are anticipated to be completed in 5 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.

(C131PEMBERTON ROAD. ALLENSFORD)

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2021 The Council on 31/3/21 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all traffic from proceeding on 632m of C131 Pemberton Rd between its junctions with Allensford Park and the access road to Emmaus Village owing to the unstability of the road and ground conditions which pose a danger to the public, and to allow for remedial works to be undertaken. Alt route for vehicular access/egress from the western side of the closure from the junction with A68 and Pemberton Rd along the A68 in a southerly direction to Castleside, then north easterly along A692 to Genesis Way roundabout, then northerly along Genesis Way to the junction with Park Rd, continuing north westerly along Park Rd onto Laburnum Ave, and then northerly to the junction with Durham Rd, then westerly along Pemberton Rd to the eastern side of the closure and vice versa. There will be no promoted route for pedestrians. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 9/4/21 and are anticipated to be required for 18 months. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.

(UNCLASSIFIED ROAD ACROSS HETT MILL LEVEL CROSSING)

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2021 The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 70m of unc road across Hett Mill level crossing, east of Hett Village to enable level crossing tamping works to be undertaken. There is no alternative route available to vehicular traffic. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence from 00.01am to 5am on 25/4/21 and are anticipated to be completed in 5 hours. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly. Dated: 8/4/2021
