NIXON David William Suddenly on 21st July, aged 66 years of Cayton, formerly of Wombleton. Dad of Joanne, father-in-law to Woody, grandad of Daisy and Evan. Funeral service and cremation at East Riding Crematorium, Octon, on Tuesday 9th August at 1.30pm. Family flowers only please but donations in lieu if desired to Yorkshire Air Ambulance. Please wear casual clothing. Enquiries to W Bumby and Son 01751 432737.

I would like to send out my condolences to Dave’s family. Having got to know Dave over the last couple of years through my job I have to say what a joy it was to have known him. He had a real zest for life and a love for live music and motorbikes. I also want to mention how highly he spoke of Meg who helped him with so many things from technology to getting a suit.. I will miss his humour and genuine character. Rest in peace.
