DOWNING Sheila May (nee Robinson) Of Thornton le Dale. Passed away peacefully in Saint Cecilia's Nursing Home, Scarborough, on 6th January 2022 aged 94 years. Beloved wife of the late Les, a dearly loved mother of Michael, Andrew and Alistair, mother-in-law of Carol, Jennifer and Stella, a devoted grandma of Emma and a dear sister and auntie. Funeral service to be held at Thornton le Dale Methodist Church on Friday 21st January at 2:30pm, followed by a private cremation. Family flowers only please but donations if desired may be given for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, a plate will be provided at the service.
