COOK Betty (Betty Kemp) Of Pickering. Peacefully in Beechwood Nursing Home, Norton on April 27th. Aged 87 years. Beloved wife of John and also Sgt. Richard Kemp. Cherished mum of Tony, much loved grandma of Matthew, Andrew, Charlie, Millie and Sophie and a dear mother-in-law to Michaela. Private funeral service to take place at Woodlands Crematorium, Scarborough on Tuesday May 11th, at 12noon. The cortege will leave Ken Thompson Funeral Directors on Middleton Road, Pickering at approximately 11.15am. It will travel towards town, down Potter Hill, along the Ropery Road and pause outside Kirk Theatre for anyone wishing to pay their respects. Donations in memory of Betty will be for Dementia UK and Kirk Theatre and may be sent c/o Ken Thompson Funeral Directors 01751 472850.
