CARTER Arthur Of Rosedale, formerly of Farndale. Passed away in York Hospital on January 3rd 2021, aged 84 years, after a long illness. Husband of Betty, dad of Mark and Janice and father-in-law of Pam and Barry. Will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Due to the current situation a private funeral service will be held at St Lawrence's Church, Rosedale, on Thursday January 21st, at 1.00pm, followed by Interment in the Churchyard. The cortege will go through Farndale at 11.30am and go via Low Mill, over to the East Side and round to Church Houses before going up Blakey Bank and along to Rosedale. Family flowers only please but donations if desired may be given in memory of Arthur for St Catherine's Hospice and may be sent c/o Adam Collier Funeral Services, Sawmill Lane, Helmsley, York, YO62 5DQ Tel 01751 477766
