RAINE John Of Appleton le Street. Passed away peacefully in York Hospital on February 9th, 2020 aged 79 years. Beloved husband of Angela, a much loved dad of Pip and Sam and a devoted grandad of Nell. Cremation Service to be held at the East Riding Crematorium, Octon, on Thursday February 27th at 12:30pm, followed by a Service of Thanksgiving at St Michael's Church, Malton, at 2:00pm. Family flowers only please but donations if desired may be given for the British Lung Foundation and Ward 34 at York Hospital, a plate will be provided at the Service. Will never forget John in the Musical Society, hearing his voice at his Memorial Service was a wonderful tribute - sending love and sympathy to Angela, Pip, Sam & Nell. John will never be forgotten - a true gentleman.
