SINGERS, dancers, performers and musicians of all ages and abilities are needed to bring alive Ryedale Festival Community Opera's summer production.
Auditions take place this month for The Wedding Ghost adapted from the Leon Garfield story by composer Barry Russell - a spooky tale of mystery and love.
The Community Opera, now in its ninth year, will feature a cast of 60, a backstage crew of makers, designers, artists and technical support, and will be supported by the Arts Council.
The spectacular production will be performed at the Milton Rooms in Malton on Friday, July 11 and Saturday, July 12, the opening weekend of the Ryedale Festival.
As usual the team is looking for anyone interested in performing or doing art and design work or helping backstage.
There are two auditions and anyone is welcome to attend.
They take place on Friday, May 16, between 6pm-8.30pm at the Milton Rooms, Malton, and Sunday, May 18, between 4pm-5.30pm at Helmsley Arts Centre.
If you are interested in auditioning or getting involved with backstage help or design, contact Em on 01751 431231.
