The Moorlands, an elegant country residence, built at the turn of the century for the local vicar by his family, is set in three and a half acres of mature gardens and woodland, offers comfortable and superior accommodation situated on the edge of the peaceful village of Levisham in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, over looking the stunning Levisham valley

The nearest town of Pickering is a busy market town offering a wide variety of shops, tea rooms, restaurants etc, along with many interesting places to visit, including the Beck Isle Museum, Pickering Castle and the North Yorks Moors Steam Railway. The steam train begins its journey at Pickering, passing through wonderful valleys on route, (stopping at Levisham) to goathland the village made famous for the BBC's 'Heartbeat', and on to Grosmont.
