SIMON Dyson is back in European Tour action this week when he tees off at the True Thailand Classic.

The Malton & Norton Golf Club ace begins his quest for glory at Hua Hin at 1pm (local time) on Thursday, playing in a group with Mikko Korhonen and Antonio Lascuna.

After going under the knife in June to repair a slipped tendon in his left wrist, the 38-year-old returned to Tour action at the BMW SA Open in Johannesburg in January but has experienced patchy form in his five events so far this year.

Dyson – who has six European Tour titles to his name – will be aiming to build on his 69th-place finish at last month's Omega Dubai Desert Classic, where he netted a cheque for more than 5,000 euros.
