KIRKBYMOORSIDE celebrated winning the York Minster Engineering League division three championship with a 3-0 victory over Stamford Bridge.
The win sees Kirkby secure their second successive title as they continue their advance up the divisions. Despite the defeat, Stamford Bridge are also promoted and will join the Moorsiders in division two next season.
In division one, already promoted Brooklyn suffered a 4-2 loss at Hemingbrough. Malton & Norton won their derby against Brooklyn in reserve ‘B’ and their 1-0 victory gives them a two-point advantage in the battle to avoid the drop.
