THERE will be no let up from Malton & Norton RUFC as the 2015 season reaches a climax.

The Ryedale side have secured a promotion play-off place in Yorkshire One, but they are determined to chase leaders Doncaster Phoenix all the way to the finish while also targeting Yorkshire Shield glory.

A strong side has been selected for tomorrow's trip to Bridlington in the semi-finals of the Shield as the coaching team shun the option of resting key men ahead of the play-off.

Flanker Sam Triffitt is out with a hamstring injury, while wingers Ian Cooke and Ben Woodhouse are unavailable, but Malt have selected the remainder of the side which trounced Wath-on-Dearne 64-18.

Malt spokesman Bill Laidler said: "One of the pluses is we haven't been hit with injuries this season. At this stage, you expect one or two but we will be strong up front, as usual.

"We want to finish the season well. In the league, there is always the hope Doncaster will slip up, but that hope gets smaller every week."
