STEVE COLLEY gained his first point of the Pickering Horseshoe Individual League season on Sunday with a fine 2-2 draw against current leader Steve Taylor.

Colley hit a maximum 180 in a 21-dart opening leg and, in leg three, he hit double 10 to make sure of at least a point. Taylor, though, had levelled in leg two and gained a draw at the end with a 55 finish.

Taylor later bounced back from his surprise draw in style - by inflicting a first defeat of the season on title rival Billy Hague.

Taylor opened with a 22-darter, followed by a 125, 100 and a 94 finish for 18, and he sealed the win with a 60 outshot in a 20-dart leg.

Hague put this loss behind him by hitting back-to-back 140s and a 97 finish for a superb 14-darter against John Rule. He followed this with legs of 19 and 21 darts in a 4-0 win.

Colley started his second match of the night strongly, taking the opening leg off Al Hodgson but he missed his doubles thereafter allowing Hodgson to take the next three legs and victory.

Rule opened a 3-0 lead over Mark Dalby to seal the points before Dalby hit a 22-darter to gain the fourth leg.

Kevin Wilson found his doubles form, hitting four out of five against Adie Bumstead, including two 68 finishes for his best two legs, both of 21 darts
