THE quarter-final line-up has been decided in the Malton & Norton League’s Summer Cup.

Unbeaten Bright Steels ‘A’ topped group ‘A’ by 22 points, ending with a 5-2 win over New Globe ‘B’.

Hyde Park ‘B’ took the second spot after a 5-2 victory saw them leapfrog Railway Tavern - but Tavern still make the knockout stage as the second best third-placed team.

Royal Oak ‘A’ topped group ‘B’ after beating second-placed Union ‘B’, who also go through.

Malton Cons and Derwent Arms ‘B’, already through from group ‘C’, were joined in the last eight by Bright Steels ‘B’, who beat Royal Oak ‘B’ 5-2 to cement the best third place spot - and a quarter-final against their ‘A’ team.

Other ties see Union ‘B’ host Derwent Arms ‘B’, Malton Cons entertain Hyde Park ‘B’ and Railway Tavern go to Royal Oak ‘A’.

In the Men’s Individuals, Dougie Pauley, Mark Johnson, Dan Pawson and Tom Kellett are through to finals night.
